On the north shore of Vieques
Island in Bravos de Boston, the Palm Cottages are
the residences located at The Sanctuary, a residential compound that was formerly
a church, its rectory, and outbuildings. In the lovely Vieques Garden District,
the Cottages are surrounded by exceptional tropical gardens
designed and maintained by the well-known Bravos Boyz, whose offices are in
the old church.
The Sanctuary compound includes the Palm Cottage ,
the Pool Cottage, and several small outbuildings.
The two Cottages share a beautifully landscaped,
private pool.

A winding walkway through a lush side garden leads from the entry
gate to the Palm Cottages, which are hidden from the
street. Nestled by the pool, the Cottages overlook
a charming Caribbean neighborhood of colorful houses and luxurious
tropical landscaping.
Horses meander by on the beach road. Dragonflies hover over the pool.
One sees and hears chickens and hummingbirds, tiny lizards, the rolling
surf, and the constant, almost hypnotic rustle of palm trees. Beautiful
La Chata beach, a few steps away, is perfect for a long stroll and
has excellent spots for snorkeling.
